About Us

Nakhal National Investment Company (S.A.O.C.) is a community joint-stock company established in 2014, with shareholders from the local community of the Wilayat. Headquartered in Nakhal, the company’s operations extend across most governorates of the Sultanate. The company aims to establish investment projects that contribute to the development of the Wilayat, utilizing the region’s natural and tourism resources. It is officially registered with the Muscat Stock Exchange.

Economic diversification contributes to reducing dependence on oil and provides more diverse and sustainable job opportunities for citizens. The Sultanate of Oman has taken several steps to achieve economic diversification by focusing on encouraging both local and foreign investments in various economic sectors. Additionally, efforts are being made to enhance the performance of key sectors identified in the Tenth Five-Year Plan (2021–2025), aiming to achieve the targeted goals of economic diversification. These sectors include manufacturing industries, transport and logistics services, tourism, mining, and food security.

ويســهم المحتــوى المحلــي أو مــا ُيطلــق عليــه القيمــة المحليــة المضافــة فــي تعزيــز الصناعــات القائمــة، وتوطيــن صناعــات جديــدة، وإنشــاء صناعــات تحويليــة قائمــة علــى المــواد الخــام المحليــة وهــو مــا يرفــع القيمــة االقتصاديــة للمــواد الــخام المحلــية وُيقصــد بالمحتــوى المحلــي: القيمــة المضافــة لالقتصــاد الوطنــي الناتجــة عــن اســتخدام عناصــر المحتــوى المحلــي أي عناصــر الإنتاج المكونــة مــن القــوى لعاملــة، والمنتجــات الوطنيــة والمحليــة، واألصــول الثابتــة، وتطويــر المؤسســات الصغيـرة والمتوسـطة، وغيرهـا، وقـد قامـت األمانـة العامـة لمجلـس المناقصـات برســم الخطــط االســتراتيجية والتنفيذيــة للتغلــب علــى التحديــات التــي تواجــه تطبيــق سياســة المحتــوى المحلــي وبمــا يــؤدي إلــى تعزيــز االقتصــاد الوطنــي وتحقيــق التنميــة الشــاملة، وقــد شــهد عــام 2023 تنفيــذ العديــد مــن الجهــود لتعزيــز المحتــوى المحلــي تضمنــت العديــد مــن اإلجــراءات التشــريعية والبرامــج التنفيذــية وتر ّّكــز الخطــط المســتقبلية للمحتــوى المحلــي التــي تــم إعدادهــا بمــا يتوافــق ُ وتوجهـات رؤيـة ُعمـان 2040 علـى تفعيـل وتطبيـق السياسـة الوطنيـة للمحتـوى المحلـي، وتنفيـذ برنامـج الـوالء للمنتـج المحلـي الـذي يركـز علـى تشـجيع األفـراد واألســر علــى شــراء المنتجــات المحليــة، واســتكمال البرامــج المتعلقــة بحوكمــة المحتــوى المحلــي.
